Hey, Jackie Green here from GAI's Behind the Design, where we are reimaging education, support, and training for interior designers. Today, we are talking about your online reputation. In a digital world, you must have an online presence, especially if you are just getting started. Here are three strategies to get you started.  

First, start with monitoring your online presence. Regularly search for your name, brand, or business online to see what information is available about you. Set up Google Alerts or use online reputation management tools to receive notifications whenever your name or brand is mentioned online.

Second, optimize your social media profiles by ensuring that your social media profiles are up-to-date, professional, and reflect your desired image. Use high-quality profile pictures, provide accurate and relevant information, and post engaging content that showcases your expertise or interests. Delete any images or posts that don't reflect your professional self. 

Finally, publish positive content consistently. Create and share positive content to push down any negative information that may exist. This can include writing blog posts, publishing articles on reputable websites, or contributing to industry-specific forums or discussion boards.

Remember, building a positive online reputation takes time and consistent effort. To maintain a favorable reputation, be proactive, genuine, and transparent in your online interactions.
